Admin - Navigating the Time Clock
To access the menu, select M/OK. (use the UP/DOWN arrows to navigate)
At the time clock select M/OK > User Mgt > M/OK
Select New User
The User ID is the number that corresponds to Badge ID in the CPS system.
Enter the Employees’ Name in the Name Field (this is optional)
To add a fingerprint select “Fingerprint” and follow the prompts.
Go to “Access Control Role” and then select “Verification Mode” to change how the employee clocks in e.g. Fingerprint Only, User ID only, Fingerprint AND User ID, etc.
*IMPORTANT* Go to password and enter in the employees user ID so the employee will save to the time clock.
Press ESC to navigate back to the main menu.
TIMECLOCK VIEW:
Press M/OK navigate to the COMM. Option.
Depending on the clocks connectivity you’ll either want to select Ethernet, or Wireless Network
If you are using WiFi and not a network cable in the Wireless Network setting you’ll want to make sure WiFi is on and find the network in the list.
Clocking In/Out
The employee will type in their User ID# or scan their finger. If it is done correctly the clock will prompt with a successfully verified message.
