Updating an Employee's Work schedule

TO MAKE ONLY TEMPORARY CHANGES

Navigate to Team > My Team > Employee Information

 Locate the employee that you would like to edit and open the employee's profile.  Go to the Schedules Tab.



 

 Click on the day that you want to edit, and it will pop open an Edit Screen.  In the Shift Type box, select the new shift that you want to assign to that Employee and save. 



 That will assign a shift for that day only. 

 

 TO MAKE CHANGES TO A SCHEDULE PERMANENTLY

 Navigate to Team > My Team > Employee Information

 Locate the employee that you would like to edit and open the Employee Profile.  Go to the Main Tab and locate Profiles.



  Scroll to the bottom and change the Work Schedule to the new schedule that you’d like to assign to the employee and Save.


 

 For the schedule to populate long term, you must then Generate Schedules.

 Navigate to Team > Schedule > Basic Scheduling > Generate Schedules

 Select the checkbox next to the employee (s) that you’d like to generate and select Generate Schedules in the right-hand corner. 

 *Note: It will be grayed out until you select the employees you want to change.

  

 

Enter the From Date (date to start the schedule), To Date (date to end the schedule), the Work Schedule you want to add, and check the box to Override Existing Schedule Entries (this will override their current schedule) and then Generate. 

 

 You will receive a confirmation message and click OK. 

 You can check to make sure that the entries populated by navigating back to the Employee ProfileTeam > My Team > Employee Information

 Locate the employee and open their profile.  Go to the Schedules Tab.  You can scroll through each week to see the changes that were generated within the employee’s schedule.
