Banking Holidays – Remember, these don’t count as Banking Days

  1. New Year’s Day – January 1st of each year
  2. MLK Day – Third Monday of January
  3. President’s Day – Third Monday of February
  4. Memorial Day – Last Monday of May
  5. Juneteenth – June 19th of each year
  6. Independence Day – July 4th of each year
  7. Labor Day – First Monday of September
  8. Columbus Day – Second Monday of October
  9. Veteran’s Day – November 11th of each year
  10. Thanksgiving Day – Fourth Thursday in November
  11. Christmas Day – December 25th of each year


CPS Closures – Banking days
  1. Good Friday – Around the beginning of April
  2. Day After Thanksgiving – Fourth Friday in November
  3. Christmas Eve (Leave Early) – December 24th of each year
