How to View and Update Employee Profiles

From time to time, it necessary to update or view an employee profile. Profiles control many aspects of the employee setup in the system from how their timesheet is calculated to what security rights they have. Please review the Overview of Profiles article for specifics on each profile. 

Navigate to the menu and follow the path of Team > My Team > Employee Information




Once you can see your employee list, enter the employee's information page and navigate to the Main tab.



On the Main Tab, you will see a "Profiles" and arrow button on the far-right side of the page. You can select the arrow button to always keep the profiles list open or select the "Profiles" button to temporarily see all profiles and make changes.



The first section of profiles are the "Simple Profiles". They are simple because there is no date that can be attached to this change. As soon as the profile is updated, the changes will take effect. For instance, if you change the Security profile, the employee will immediately be able to login with different security rights. To change one of these, select the magnifying glass in the field and update to the new value.

The second section of profiles are below the "Simple Profiles" and are laid out in a single column. These profiles can still be changed immediately by selecting the magnifying glass and choosing the new profile. If you would like to set one of the profiles for a future date, you can select the + Add button. This will add a new row and you select the profile and the new effective date. 




Remember to choose Save and all done.
