KEY FEATURES THIS UPDATE
- HR: A new Pro-Rate contributions in Remaining Pays in the Plan Year option will support pro-ration by remaining pays in the plan year.
- HR: The existing Form I-9 has been converted to a web form within the solution.
- TLM: All new companies are to have Accruals 2.0.
- Payroll: A new landing page will be available on the Process Payroll page.
- Cross-Prod: New visual changes to the user interface, reporting, checklists, and log in screens
- Cross-Prod: When users log into the system for the first time will now be able set up contact information for one of more of the configured Two Factor Authentication methods on their own.
Scheduler
- Shift names will now display to employees when viewing their upcoming shifts in the My Schedule
view, providing better insight and clarity into the shift and responsibilities.
- A new column will display individual employee daily costs that auto update cost calculations when
schedule changes are made. Costs are also auto updated when the report is exported via API.
Cross Product
- When users log into the system for the first time will now be able set up contact information for one
of more of the configured Two Factor Authentication methods on their own. This aims at providing a
seamless login experience for first time logins and eliminates the need to reach out to their manager
or company administrator for assistance.
- As part of bringing a modern experience to the UKG Ready solution, new visual changes are coming
to the user interface. These changes will include font updates, padding and border adjustments, and
theme colors - system themes and colors, login page, dashboards, employee home, hubs, employee profile header, icons, user pictures, popovers, and links.
- As part of bringing a modern experience to the UKG Ready solution, new visual and structural
changes are coming to the reporting screens. These changes will help improve the usability and
readability of the reporting screens. Once applied, changes will be reflected in the following areas - new employee rich summary column, new actions column with ellipsis-style actions menu, location of the column filter pills, and pagination controls.
- As part of bringing a modern experience to the UKG Ready solution, new visual and structural
changes are coming to the Checklists functionality. Checklists will now appear in the main screen
area instead of the left side panel, allowing for a more streamlined, task-focused, and user-friendly
experience.
HR
- The existing Form I-9 has been converted to a web form within the solution. This modern, fully
responsive experience supports the most current USCIS version of the form and has improved user
guidance that provides contextual help and validation to reduce users’ confusion.
- A new field, EEO-4 Classification, has been added to the job import to allow users to easily update
their EEO-4 classifications in bulk.
- The Override Security Restrictions and Required options for Position Assignment items will now be
editable, allowing organizations to have managers initiate position assignment changes via HR
Actions without needing to change or update their security permissions.
- A new Pro-Rate contributions in Remaining Pays in the Plan Year option will support pro-ration by
remaining pays in the plan year. When this option is turned on, the system will not accumulate all
remaining contributions to be deducted when an employee is terminated. This new option will
ensure correct payroll deductions for both current and terminated employees and reduce manual
overhead for admins.
- An option to End Performance Reviews will be available. When selected, the review will be locked
down, and any saved history in the review will be maintained. The following year’s review will then
initiate with no issue.
- Previously, users were able to search and view trainings that had already been added in HR Actions and Employee
Information, which resulted in system errors (4xx errors). We will now prevent already added trainings from being visible or
searchable in the training look-up feature which will improve user experience and system reliability.
Timekeeping
- A new agent has been created to create accrual policies and rules based on the upload of a company handbook. The agent
identifies and interprets the different leave policies required to meet the needs of the company.
- There has not been a way to print the holiday table(s) containing all the company observed holidays. In some cases, this is
helpful when a holiday has variable yearly dates, and one would like to view those dates for upcoming years.
Now, when selecting View/Edit Holiday Profile, a page-level button for Download PDF is available that generates a PDF of
the holidays and dates, including the holiday table configuration options.
- Timesheet Extra Buttons for punching, change of cost center or attestation set up in the Timesheet Profile for web use have
not been available for use with InTouch clocks. With this release, those buttons are now available in the terminal settings
for InTouch.
- There is new functionality that allows you to export existing LOA rules from one profile and import them into another by
pasting the rule schema. When imported, all configured rules should automatically populate under the LOA profile without
needing to manually re-create them.
- Within the Extra Button setting for Change CC type, the cost center options have a new item for Select Cost Center. This
allows the employee to select from a list of cost centers instead of the button being preset to a specific cost center or the
employees default home cost center.
- When creating new companies, Accruals 1.0 is no longer available for selection. All new companies are to have Accruals 2.0.
The ability to create or copy an Accruals 1 company with Company Information Import, Estimate, or Mass Edit from the
main landing page is no longer available.
Payroll
- A new landing page will be available on the Process Payroll page. This page will feature a redesigned
page layout to help simplify the payroll processing experience and provide a user-friendly navigation
experience. Payroll administrators can easily navigate between current and recent payrolls while
seamlessly taking action to complete payroll processes.
- A new integration with Sage Intacct Payroll GL will be available to install in the Solutions Exchange.
The integration allows teams to transfer payroll GL entries automatically via a secure REST API
connection.
